(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for my husband for tubing down the river. If you load it with drinks and ice, it will sink below the mid level opening and fill with water thus melting the ice. You will then have to empty the contents and start over to get it to float properly. It was more of a pain trying to get this thing to work than to take a regular cooler and put it in it's own tube. By the end of an hour float, the drinks were no longer cold. Why the makers didn't put some kind of seal on the opening and why they didn't make the opening further toward the top of the bobber is beyond me. I think R&D took a break while they put this product on the market. A few minor changes to this cooler could have made it a really good one.....but unfortunately the way it is currently constructed just makes it look neat and not functional at all. If you are looking for a cute novelty, then go ahead and purchase. But if you are looking for a functional cooler on the water, save your money.
