After having a hard time getting through to Ergo I emailed debnroo supplier. The response was almost immediate. They called me and after explaining the circumstances Andy Mowery got in touch with Ergo and the problem was resolved and a new base unit is on it's way . It is getting rarer that a concern responds this way. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any product the debnroo has for sale . Now to the product. As I get older there might be times when I have to be in a hospital for a few days. The auto waterer and feeder takes care of my two dogs with out worry. The timer was a little difficult but if one follows the instructions it will work. I now feed dogs three times a day instead of two . It took a few days for dogs to use feeder as they kept waiting for me to tell them OK. Now I can regulate how much each dog gets without worry.
