The Spout...well it is not...it is now just a small hole for pouring..if your the type that likes to take a swig out of your jug prepared for the dribble of liquid down your chin. The other selling feature...drip/leak proof...forget it!! It does leak out of the lid. The only thing nice about it is that it has a nice hand grip which would have been nice if you were able to drink out of it.
