My husband makes French Press coffee every morning and I enjoy tea. Having hot water right away was wonderful. We would use it all day and refill it every evening. We loved the convenience of it. So when our son got ready to head back to college we had to have it.
We never had a problem with our sons machine but our new one did quit working after a month. We called and had great customer service take care of the whole thing quickly. We have not had a single issue with this replaced one.
Our son had an older model and there are a few things we miss from that one. There was a laser light of sorts that came out of the spout. There also was a beeping when you hit the unlock button and dispense button. Neither of these is missed if you never had it.
The nice new feature is the dual pump. You can now take the unit away from the plug and use on a table to serve hot water.
This machine is wonderful if you plan to use it everyday or even just during gatherings. You will enjoy its usefulness.
