Lixit Glass Waterer 32oz Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the only bottle I would have ever needed had I ever seen it in a pet store. I have an unusually shaped wrought iron cage and I have a hard time finding a bottle holder that fits securely. This is extremely well made and looks clean and kind of retro too. It's sturdy and my bird doesn't try to jiggle it. No plastic parts so she can't try to chew it up, so it cleans up nicely. Some bottles are almost impossible to clean with their large capacity and tiny outlet. This one will clean up with a bottle brush. Love it. Love it. Love it. Although I love it and all, it is an expensive bottle and $8.95 seems high for shipping and handling! Only one little picture in the ad and the vague amount of information on the bottle, made me feel nervous about spending so much on the bottle and shipping, the only reason I took the risk was because I had a gift certificate. Those things will cost you a star, water bottle seller! Live with it. Anyway, if amazon had had pictures of the mounting mechanism and explained the dimensions and materials of which it is made, it would have enabled me to make an educated purchase instead of a guess.

DOG CAT PET TRAVEL WATER BOTTLE (colors may vary) Review

(More customer reviews)Would be good for the small size, but it is made so cheaply the cap won't screw back on. Had to return for refund. I switched to a "Pet Top" instead (http://www.amazon.com/Pet-Top-Combo-Pack-Portable/dp/B002LNXBYG).

Arctic Zone 1/2 Gallon IceCOLD Hydration Jug Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had awesome bottles that I've had for years. Silly me can't remember who made them and someone stole them a few days ago. I was on the hunt to find my old ones. I came across these that were similar but the reviews weren't so good. I got them anyway. The cold pack cannot be taken out it has to be left in or the lid cannot close, it will continuously turn and it will also leak as it is not closed properly. I think an extra gasket in the lid will solve the problem. I know this is a hassle but if you are looking for something specific......... I am.

Brita Opti-Max Dispenser Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed to only see one review for the Optimax here, because we've used ours for over 20 years. Not only has that been for every single glass of drinking water we've drunk (we bought it originally because our tap water was horrible), but also for our dogs, which over the years has numbered (let's see... lemme count 'em...) Eleven! All of whom lived longer than ten years each!
A lot of the convenience is due to our placing it alongside the sink, which has a hose attachment. We fill it two or three times a day, and change the filter once a month. The trick to keeping it clean is to add a half-cup of bleach to the last batch before changing filters. Empty it entirely and wash it out with cold water and dish detergent, pop in the filter and you're set for another month.
The only reason we were looking for another one is as a backup, in case something should happen to ours. As it is, it has no cracks, leaks or any other defect. How's that for an endorsement?

Handi Drink 17 oz Pink Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a piece of junk. The size and threading on the neck of the half-liter bottle make it incompatible with every other half-liter water bottle in the world -- WHY??? The neck's too narrow for the bottle to get clean in the dishwasher (not that it mentions dishwasher safety at all). The instructions consist of a vague little diagram showing how you "snap" the two pieces together, but it's flimsy at best. The cap has a rubber gasket instead of a lid, guaranteeing it will leak if not perfectly upright. The so-called belt clip is a cheap plastic hook, so the bottle would swing wildly from your hip.

The compact, portable Guardian Gear? Handi-Drink keeps pets supplied with fresh water on the go. Ideal for walks, hikes, car rides, camping, and trips to the beach. The patented rubber flow-control valve in the cap prevents leaks, spills, and backwash contamination. The easy-to-use, handheld design includes a plastic 17-oz water bottle, dispenser tray, and cover. Simply snap the bottle upright into the tray and squeeze the bottle to dispense water into the tray for the dog to drink. It includes a convenient belt clip and carrying strap. The bottle folds into the tray for easy portability. The Handi-Drink includes a Guardian Gear? brand hangtag with use instructions. Available in Blue, Hot Pink, and Lime colors.

Greensmart Neogreene Tall Manatee Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I loved this product... until I washed it. I thought... it's neoprene... like a wetsuit - there should be no problems washing it, right? WRONG. Not only does it no longer fit my water bottle - not even close, but it also stained everything else in the wash. I don't remember seeing any warnings not to wash it (it can get stinky). It shrank a good half of its size and and ruined my 600-thread count sheets and my husband's t-shirts (cry!). As long as you don't wash it, it should work great. Wash it and you're in for BIG trouble.

Aquasana AQ-6000 27oz Glass Water Bottles (6-Pack) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I use these to take water to work everyday. I have broke about 5 of them so far. It's very hard to travel with these without breaking them! The only complaint I have is that these bottles are obviously two recycled bottles mended together, and not very well. They do hold up though if you're careful with them. I didn't have problems with the plastic lids. I have 12 of ...I mean 7 of them.

Coleman 1/2 - Gallon Jug Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I play ultimate frisbee in Summer in Texas. Temperatures regularly get over 100 degrees F. No shade anywhere. The feeling of flipping open cold water to drink and pour on the head is just great. I use it as an oversized individual water bottle, not as a pitcher for pouring into cups. This bottle is durable, easy to use, fairly insulated, holds just the right amount, and has a nice handle to pick it up by.
One downside is that sometimes the lid can be a bit tricky to get screwed on water tight. If you don't fasten it correctly some liquid will dribble out the seam in the lid while pouring. Once you get the hang of it it provides a tight seal, but it should be more effortless.
The pour spout also comes loose from time to time and has to be pushed back into place or else it will dribble where the spout joins the lid. This is really simple to do, but it would be nice if it didn't ever come loose.

Average Reviews:

Bluewave 3 Gallon Refrigerator Bottle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We use this container to hold water that we draw from a mountain spring. The large screw top makes the container easy to fill from the spring. The molded handle is a welcome addition because the container gets heavy when full (about 24 pounds). The container fits fine in our refrigerator/ freezer - a GE side by side model. So far the valve / spigot has worked ok. Its a very basic plastic valve that hopefully will hold up over time. I have my doubts. Shipping and handling fee is high on this item - - over $8.

Super Pet Small Animal Chew-Proof Water Bottle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am a wildlife rehabilitator who cares for squirrels, opossums, skunks and other small mammals. These chew-proof water bottles have worked out so well for me. First, they are definitely chew-proof. Being glass, the bottles are easy to clean and disinfect as are the metal spouts. I have outdoor cages of varying sizes and wire guages. This bottle attaches by resting the spout on a supportive wire and holding the top of the bottle in a spring loop that sits in a groove in the bottle. This allows the bottle to be attached firmly to the side of any sort of wire cage without slipping. Secondly, plastic water bottles eventually turn brittle under the sun's UV rays. I expect these bottles to last forever.

Lixit Dog Waterer 1/2 gallon Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I received this item as part of a package deal including a cage to attach it to. After filling the water bottle i attached the spout (very securely, as the directions indicated) and turned it over so it would create a "seal." I have tried many times and this piece of garbage will not stop leaking profusely, probably 3-4 drips a second. It's absolutely worthless if you want to use it inside.
